Tender Curry Goat for Dinner

Mama Jacq's always says :  " I find joy in cooking, whatever I cook at an event or a booking is exactly what I'll prepare at home for my family...because I love my family so much, people outside my home can experience that love through my cooking "

Here is a look at what we are having for dinner :)

Sincerely Yours,

Birmingham Foodies 2017

This was our second time taking part in The Birmingham Foodies,

and as always B'ham never fails to amaze us.

We had many customers who had remembered us from the year prior,

who were so thrilled to see us again that they did not mind the long queuing.

The thing we love most about Birmingham Foodies is that it's a melting pot of different

cultures merged unto one location: Cannon Hill Park.

With popular demand , we will be back next year.

Meeting Mark Lewis-Francis

Just In case you are unaware who Mark Lewis-Francis is he is a British track and field athlete, specifically a sprinter, who specialises in the 100 metres. We were in shock when his face appeared at our stall, holding back our excitement, we served him  , took a few pictures and spoke briefly. He was very humble and friendly. On our third day at the Foodies Festival he paid us a second visit where we spoke more in debt about who we were etc. We are hoping to see him sometime in the future.

Customer Testimonial

" Easily the best food I've tasted at a food festival ... my only issue is that I didn't take more home with me !!! Keep up the good work guys and I really hope you are there next year as I will most definitely be front of your massive ques x x "

Awarded Alcester's Most Innovative Product

Alcester is an old market town of Roman origin at the junction of the River Alne and the River Arrow in Warwickshire, England. The buildings situated in the town are perfectly preserved, and date back to Roman settlement. The town is truly beautiful and deserves to be one of the United Kingdom's top places to visit.

Pheasant For Dinner

Yesterday we got a knock on our door from one of our lovely neighbours.

In his hands he had four beautiful pheasants for us to clean and cook.

Both my brother and mother went on to removing the rich meat from the pheasants body.

Then Cleaning it in vinegar and lime so that we could cook something tasty.

But.. before anything happens, the meat will be marinated using Mama's Green Marinade & Cook'in Sauce.

Stay tune for the end results :)

Crave Market Paddington

Who knew Paddington Basin would be the place to kick start Notting Hill Carnival 2016.

On Tuesday and Thursday 11:00 am till 2:00 pm, The Mama Jacq's team was serving up just what people craving a bit of sun shine on their lunch hour needed.. A bit of Curry Goat or Jerk Chicken!

The weather was amazing and so were the live performance acts, which included a steel band and  woman dressed in spectacular costumes.

The people of Paddington know how to have a good time.

Many thanks to Crave Market and Merchant Square events for having us.

Nottingham Food and Drinks Festival 2016

Besides meeting Marco Pierre White, we had a great time sharing tips on how to create Caribbean dishes at home for the people of Nottingham.

As a multicultural city, many knew what Caribbean flavours consisted of.

We will remember the people of Nottingham for their repetitive buying.

One of our most favourite customers bought food four times from us (in one day).

His Girlfriend ensured us that she never saw him like that.

He was also on a diet!!

In all we love Nottingham and hope to be back soon.

Marco Pierre White

At the Nottingham Food and Drinks Festival 2016, we were very fortunate to spend some time with one of the greatest chefs the U.K. has to offer.

Mr. Marco Pierre White.

Standing within our queue we were so busy we did not notice him until he got to the front of the line.

To which Chantal shouted with joy "I know you! You're Marco Pierre White"

He then ran into our gazebo and we began to take pictures.

We discussed ingredients used in our food.

He gave us tips on ingredients we could add to our Jerk Chicken to make it stand from the crowd.

He then took a spoonful of our Curry Goat and recommended us use his Knorr stock pots to add that extra bit of flavour.

It was such an amazing opportunity for the team, and hopefully he enjoys our natural Green Marinade sample given to him.

You can normally find Joshua on the grill, getting the Jerk and BBQ Chicken perfect for you.

St Margarets Street Party 2016

So far we have been spoiled with beautiful English weather.

Sadly, the weather was not on our side for St Margarets Street Party 2016.

Despite this Crowne road, Richmond Upon Thames was packed!!!!! The rain did not stop the celebrations!

There was live singing, Dog competitions, Kid fancy dress Competitions... everything that you need to make a successful street party.

We are so grateful that Holly Tucker the creator of ' Not On The Highstreet' / www.notonthehighstreet.com invited us to the tremendous celebration.

See you again next year :)

Northampton Food Show 2016

We had a blast!!!

We didn't have much time to rest because of the ongoing queue, but we did have fun meeting all the nice people in Northampton. It's safe to say Northampton enjoys Curry Goat!!!

Allen even had an interview with BBC Radio Northampton. For those of you who aren't familiar with who Allen is, he is in charge of the promotional side of our family business. Surprising to us, he is also really funny!!! Many people came down to the show simply to meet who they referred to as "the star of Mama Jacq's.

When we weren't serving and doing interviews, we were enjoying Coconut drinks from Tropical Grove and watching Levi Roots' food demonstration.

We will see you again this time next year!!! :)

"Talk Of The Town "

The Mama Jacq's team had the pleasure of taking part in the Surrey Food Festival 2016.

The team enjoyed this event so much, before the day had ended we agreed we will be back the same time next year.

Surrey locals know how to have a good time!!

People were cueing up to meet "thee Mama Jacq's".

Everyone wanted to know how she gets her curry goat so tender.

As always "Mama Jacq's" enjoyed spilling the beans on how she made all her dishes.

When why she gives away most of her secrets?

She stated that she " just want everyone to experience delicious authentic Caribbean food not just at the festivals, but also when they go home".
